Im paying child support. how does it work if i want to sign my rights away and let my childs mother have our child adopted? Is there anyway that is i do this that can get child support to stop?

If you sign an affidavit of relinquishment of parental rights, and Mom and stepdad file a petition for termination and adoption, and the Judge approves it (that is, they "win"), the resulting order will stop your ongoing child support obligation.
