payment of unsecured debt upon death

Upon the death of your husband, you discover two secret credit cards with high balances. Are you responsible for paying his charges? Your name does not appear on any documents related to these accounts. The charges on these accounts are for illegal services. What should be done?

You need to talk to a probate attorney.

Family law is not considered probate law.
