A petition for motion for contempt has been filed by my ex-husband (Texas) He sent a copy of the motion to me. What do I need to do to respond? I cannot afford a lawyer.

Without looking at the motion and knowing the facts of the case I can only give limited info. Read the motion and see if you can determine what he is saying you are not complying with. If you are unsure, try going to the courthouse and reviewing the documents. You should still speak with an attorney to get some guidance.
