Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am in the process of attempting to get divorced. I have a set of uncontested divorce papers that my spouse refuses to sign, and appears to want to contest it with unreasonable demands. Can I still file the uncontested divorce papers and proceed as though it were still going to be uncontested?

Your best bet is to have the Original Petition served on him, by a process server, if he has not answered the Original Petition. If he does not answer, you can move forward with a default.
