Property settlement

We got divorced in 2008. We had to 2 houses. In the divorce my spouse got one house and I got the other. She refuses to sign the deed over to me. What can I do?

Re: Property settlement

You need to file a Motion for Enforcement, depending upon the exact wording from your decree. I am a board certified specialist in the field of family law, practicing here in the Houston area. Please contact me directly if you desire to discuss your options further with me.

Re: Property settlement

Based on what you have written, it appears that you should file a motion to enforce the decree. Subject to the specific language within the decree, the motion to enforce generally will obtain the result that you are looking for. If my local law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my paralegal Tina ([email protected]) to arrange for an initial consultation.
