Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Purchasing of items

My friend is getting a divorce from her husband of several years, today I recieved a call from her asking me if I would like to buy her bedroom set for a great price. The catch is that her husband left and won't return for a couple of weeks and she wants to sell everything in house before he gets back... Is this legal or not?

Are you sure you really want to get caught in the middle of all this? Usually when a deal is too good to be true, it isn't.

As long as she divides the proceeds with him 50/50 - which I get the idea that she might not. Good Luck.
