Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

i received a divorce ciation in novenmber 2011. it went thru and was finalized january 5 2012. i did not respond to the citation and let her handle it because the citation stated it would be a fair divorec. I have not received the anything from the court other than the citation(stuck in my door on or about november 2011) i go on line and look at the decree and it is loaded for her only. my house,my retirement and the furnishings. I want to file for a retrial and have everything slpit evenly. can I do this and can I do this myself?

If the decree was signed on January 5, you had 30 days to file a motion for new trial. The time is up.

Question: Why didn't you take any action after you were served with citation? The court doesn't reward people for sitting around doing nothing.
