Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Me and my ex-boyfriend have been separated for 7 months. We had a child together and the child has been with me since the split. He recently served my a SAPCR. I filed an answer of general denial. I just don't know what the legal process is and if this is the ideal time to counter sue or take any other action...

If you don't know, you better get a lawyer. Otherwise, the child could easily wind up with your ex. If you don't take care of your legal problem, no one else will.
