Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My sister has custody of my two daughters, 14 and 12 years old. I would like to get them back into my custody legally. I have a state psychiatric record for severe depression with psychotic features. I have been seeing a psychiatrist for 3-4 years and have been on medication for my condition since then. I believe my sister is emotionally and verbally abusive with my daughters. I now have a full time and a part time job. I also care for my aging mother and live in her home with her. What steps do I need to take to begin the process of getting them back.. CPS, at that time, labeled me as neglegent. My sister was afraid that the state would put them in foster homes, so she sued me for custody before anything happened with CPS. What more do I need to do to look like I am now ready to assume responsiblilty for my children?
