i am the sole owner of my home. My wife filed for divorce and moved out. Can i change the loncks as long as i give her resonable access

It's not as simple as that...unfortunately divorce is never simple.

You can certainly call your local sheriff, constable or police and get their input -- they hate getting involved in domestic problems like yours.

Hopefully your wife asked for temporary orders and there is a hearing set soon.

At the temp. order hearing, ask the judge to award you full control of the house and to exclude her from the home.

Until then, she can break into the house if you re-key it and there is nothing you can do. The police won't do anything to her if she breaks a window or calls a locksmith and has the locks re-keys and has you then locked out! (I actually had this happen between one couple for 2 weeks - every morning she rekeyed the house and every night he rekeyed the house -- the locksmiths loved them!)

So, try to get along so there is no damage done to the house.

Hire an attorney to represent you in your divorce immediately.
