temporary hearing/ final hearing

in family court. what is the major difference between temporary hearing and a final hearing ?? for example ...if one parent won primary custody at temp. hearing, can that same parent lose primary custody at the final hearing ??

Absolutely. The judge issues a set of rules for everyone to live by during the pendency of the divorce. By the time discovery and other pretrial matters are resolved, and a final hearing is held, additional information may come to light which can change the rules, including conservatorship.
