Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was going to get a divorce and they got a temporary restraining order and were going to serve him and never have served him and we have decsided to not get the divorce i called the lawyer and told them to cancel. I was wondering about the (TRO) I know they last 14 days but then what?

They die if they are not extended, especially if you dismissed or non-suited the underlying divorce.
