Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am turning 17 soon and do not get along with my mother. I was wandering if, in Texas, it is legal for a 17 year old to move out on their own and what requirements need to be reached before hand? I would be moving into my boyfriends grandparents house and continuing school until graduated. I currently do not have a job but am looking for one.

You must be 18 or legally emancipated to move out without your parents' permission. Only a court can emancipate you and you must be able to demonstrate that you can provide for yourself financially.
