My wife used my checking account to pay a bill online without my permission. The web site saved my account infromation and she knowingly used my account to pay for this bill. This is not a joint account, it is my personal checking account. She did not forge my name but before you make a payment there is a agreement. GE Money is who she made the payment to and thier web site says that my account infromation is protected. but proteceted from who?

Go to your bank tomorrow and tell them what happened. Tell them you want to close out the old account and open a new one.
Don't give your wife access to the new account.
