Can a wife seeks child support from her current husband while still married?

Can a wife seek child support from her current husband who now is residing in an another state while they're still married?

I presume he living in another state while the parties decide to divorce. I also presume that he has been there for a while. If these assumptions are true, you can seek child support through the AG's office or by private counsel. I venture to say it would take about a year or so (maybe less) for the AG to do it. A private attorney could likely get it done in about 60 days, more or less. If you are in CA, you can initiate the action back there.
