Legal Question in Medical Leave in Texas

How do I become my own guardian at 18? What kind of things do I need to have or be able to do to become my own guardian? Things are bad at home and no amount of talking to my parents is getting me anywhere. I'm 16 now, I plan on surviving the last 2 years until I'm llegal so I can move out.

You don't need a guardian once you turn 18, so you don't need to become your own guardian.

You may want to consult an attorney for a more in-depth analysis of your situation.

Good Luck!
