Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
If an 18 year old runs away from home because his dad is abusive is the stuff that is in his room (stuff bought for him before and after he turned 18 by his father) legally his or his parents?

It is his. However under civil law, dad can claim a landlord's lien against the property.
Dad can also argue that by running away the child abandoned the property.
