Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
Two 14 years old boys are in the city bayou with pellet guns. One of the boys gets upset with the other and dry fires the gun at the other boys head1' from the other boys ear causing damage to his ear drum. Are there any legal repercussions the boy and the parents are liable for ?

Yes, the injured boy and his parents may bring claims against the other boy and his parents for negligence, assault, battery, and gross negligence, among others. Additionally, they may file a police report after which criminal charges may be filed.
