Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

attacked by a crazy woman

I was recently in a confrontation with a woman at a community center. The woman approached me and my 2 friends with a very rude attitude. She told us that she was a paying member and was sick of kids using the gym she pays 2000 dollars each year to. i got annoyed at her and told her that we did have a right, and somewhat put her in her place, this angered her and she started calling me neanderthal and other names, i called her a bitch and she lost it. She slapped me in the face 3 times, i started to raise my arms to her and she just kept swinging, i was trying to defend myself and hit her back about 3 times, then she picked up a blow dryer and hit me in the head with it while holding my hair, finally my friends broke up the fight and we backed off. i called the police and filed a report with them and the community center. I suffered a bump in my head and my neck is kind of sore, but i didnt get medical treatment. I am 18 and this woman is about 45-50 years old, so it is quite bazaar. anyways, to get to my question, I want to pursue this in court, perhaps texas justice, i dont know. should i sue her for trauma, assault or both? and if so what amount should i ask for? thanks for any help you can give me...

Re: attacked by a crazy woman

When did this occur? What community center was this? Where in the community center did this occur? Did the community center document this?

Do you have a copy of the police report? How old are you?
