Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas
auto accident
had a small accident that was the other person fault as he backed into my parked car that my son was sitting. we tried to resloved this person to person(his mother, and uncle who saw the accident) with no insurance company involved. now i can't get them even to talk to me on the phone. how can i get them to pay?

Call your insurance company if damage is more than deductible...it does not affect your rates. But failure to call, then have another accident may lead to denial of claim. Your insurer will collect and perhaps take action to suspend license of other party...but you can't make someone talk to you and it sounds like you may be headed for trouble for harassment/etc..remember your insurer should be doing this..not you
