car title
Selling my car, paid for, the title is in my dad's name, I have the original title. How can I transfer the title to another party w/o having my dad, 1st, transfer the title to me?

Dad can either sign the title, or sign a vehicle power of attorney authorizing you to transfer the title. Either way, you will need the title for the new buyer to get the car registered.
