Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Extortion Blackmail and Breach of Verbal Contract

Had Verbal Agreement with to Sale two Classic Cars. $2000 & $5000.(We were very clear on it..Also Had Signs Stating Price in Both Cars ..Both Sold..one for $5600 and one for $2230..I had put his Money in His Bank as Directed by Him..A Transport comes. Buyer Calls and relates they Will Not Release Car until I put More Money in his account..It Seems when I told him how much I sold Cars for, he got Greedy and wanted it all but $500 per Car..I was supposed to get $2830 and I was to Pay for Auction Fees..If I had not put the rest of the Money in his bank, I would have gotten negative feedback on both and kicked off of eBay..They Knew this..Here are the links..

What can I do..I had to be let into the Bank to deposit this money and I feel I was Blackmailed into it to save the sales..I have know this man for many years and never would have thought he would extort money from us..But since have learned he does everyone this way..Help Please..

Please note my Perfect Feedback Record..

Re: Extortion Blackmail and Breach of Verbal Contract

The size of your claim would allow you to take it to Small Claims Court. Because you had a verbal agreement, it may be difficult to establish exactly what the agreed-uponb price actually was.
