Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Can I get fired for not going in to work after realizing that the company has not paid me in a whole month? And when I ask for a day off to try to fix the problem, they tell me that it is not a good enough reason to take off.

You need to go to the texas work force commission and file a complaint against the employer under the texas payday law. Or you can retain an attorney.
