Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

IRA protection from lawsuits

Are IRA's protected form a lawsuit? This money was rolled over from a 401K and a teacher retirement lump sum. Can this money be taken from me. I'm 67, and not rich! This resulted from an automobile accident 2 years ago. All insurance has been used.
