Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

I have a Libel case that the defendant requested Summary Judgment on. The District Court confirmed the Summary Judgment in favor of the Defendant. I appealed to District Court of Appeals, who reversed District Courts Decision and the case is remanded for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.

1. What will happen now?

2. Will the District Court automatically set a date for a hearing on damages? Or, do I have to request a hearing?

3. Has my Claim of Libel been awarded to me?

4. Will the causes of the Claim of Libel be acceptable for damages?

You need to get a lawyer.

If the case was remanded, it's back on the docket. You don't have your judgment. At this point, you may want to do some discovery (ifyou haven't already), or take depositions, or go to mediation.
