Help
I loaned a friend $2000.00 for her to get a divorce, well she ended up going back to her husband and now wont pay the money back she owes me. What can I do to get it back??

You can sue her in Small Claims. Collecting upon the judgment may be difficult, but that's the risk since there's no sure-fire way of getting your money back.

You might see if she will sign a promissory note with provisions for payment on favorable terms over a period of time, like $25 per month and 6% interest. Beware of charging too much interest. If she does not pay, then small claims court...
