Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

My mother falsely accused me of assault for which I spent 3 days in jail and now have a court date 5 days from now. She won't be showing up to court that day because she doesn't want to miss work. I'm 20 years old and live with her. Class C misdemeanor I think. I can't afford an attorney or anything.

She has constantly been threatening me lately whenever we get into a verbal argument; she'll say "I'm gonna call the police and tell them you assaulted me." When I haven't even touched her. She has no problem with blatantly lying.

I do NOT want this on my record since I want to work in childcare. Especially since I'm innocent! I have no idea what to do? Or how to defend myself in court? Can anyone give me any advice? Or at least tell me what's going to happen? Is justice even possible for me?

You'd be a lot better off if you had a lawyer. However, if that's not possible:

Show up for your court date (I assume it's a trial date) and announce ready for trial. Don't let them reset it. If the State can't produce any witnesses, the case will have to be dismissed (lack of evidence).
