Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Noise Ordinance

Do I have any recourse against a neighbor that will not control a barking dog? I have already contacted the owners, as well as local law enforcement, but to no avail. Thank you.

Re: Noise Ordinance

A few things pop into mind. (1) Public nuisance, if the barking affects more than you; (2) Private nuisance, if you're the only one affected; and (3) Tresspass - i.e., the sound is an unwelcomed tresspass on your property.
