Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

Text messages used in court

Can text messages be typed then notarized to present to a judge as evidence in a small claims court? If not what is the best way to show him the messages?

Re: Text messages used in court

You will have to prove that what is typed accurately represents what was in the text message. So print them or have a court reporter or attorney type them and then have them notarized. If you send us the text messages we can type and notarize them for a reasonable fee.
