Chances of not getting reenter in united states

hi

i am at student visa from nepal in united states. actually i got arrested on july 2006 for misdemeanor B for shoplifting and was in deffered adjucation and got probation till may 17th 2007. after my probation ends am planning to go back to my country to visit my parents and i have a question will there be any problem in re entry will they stop me to come in to united states due to my arrest on july 2006?

Your conviction will probably be considered a crime involving moral turpitude which may affect your ability to return to the U.S. However, if the charge against you was for theft under $500 it will be considered a petty offense exception. This will allow you to enter the U.S. and eventually apply for permanent residency.
