Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

My girlfriend will be coming to the USA this summer and I intend to ask her to marry me while she is here. If we get married, what will I need to do to allow here to stay here. She is on a multiple entry visa(10 Years) from the Phillipines. We have had an on going relationship and have visited each other numerous times over the past year.

Hi,

It is OK to be married and sponsor your girlfriend (who will then be your wife) if her intention is not primarily marriage to a U.S. citizen at time of her entry to the U.S. on a visitor visa. It is still a good idea not to actually be married for at least two months after her entry to the U.S. Additional information is here: www.h1b1.com/uscitizen.htm
