Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

help me with my greencard process

Currently i am out of status .I am married to US citizen. I have one major problem trying to file green card. I do not have any sponsor to sponsor me in US. Is there any alternative way I can file for green card. I am currently unemployed. If I can get work permit I can make around 45k per year with my degree. I have to file papers to get work permit and I do not have sponsor to file paper work.

Is there other way to file my green card application?

Is there any one who can help me in this process?

Re: help me with my greencard process

You do not need to apply for a "greencard" through employment based immigration. If your wife is a USC, she can sponsor you as an immediate relative through family based immigration.

You can email me if you have more questions but this is the best option for you.

Re: help me with my greencard process

I am confused by your question. You state that you are married to an American citizen. That is the person who will file for you to obtain LPR and a work permit. Please email me directly, and we can discuss this matter further. TCL

Re: help me with my greencard process

As Ms. Langford stated, your US citizen spouse can petition for your green card...assuming that you entered with a visa and not illegaly.

You do not need another sponsor.
