Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

Hello,

long story short, I work for a cruising company, I signed off from Galveston for vacation last November and when I was going to go back to my ship they stopped me at the check in desk because something was written on my C1D visa ( wasvalid for 5 years)

I didn't notice it before and I have no Idea who did it or why. I called the US embassy emergency number and the agent wasn't helpful and asked me to get a new appointment which costs around 160$ to find out what happened.. and I did, and met the agent who asked me why they barred it! I was like I don't know sir, someone did and they didn't even bother to tell me.. he said he will need to investigate this with the local authorities

there is two explanations:

1 - they did a mistake by barring the wrong visa.

2 - I had couple of problems, when I signed off from Miami the Custom and Border protection took my passport and asked me to follow him to this waiting room, after long waiting he asked me what happened when you first came to the states at the airport, I said nothing they took my photo and finger prints then took me to this waiting room to... I don't know check my background or something and that was it. he said oh there was a mistake in the system but its fixed. after the next contract I signed off from Galveston Texas and i was stopped again and the officer asked me the same question then later explained to me that I was checked in by HomeLand Security but when I left the room they didn't check me out!! but he's going to work it to fix this mistake.

my question is: who can I sue regarding this problem? obviously I did nothing wrong. but it cost me a lot, time and money

You would be wasting your time trying to sue the U.S. government, assuming anyone at the DHS or U.S. Embassy made a mistake regarding your visa issue.

If you need assistance trying to rectify the matter, you should consider hiring an experienced U.S. Immigration & Nationality attorney.
