Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

Incorrect date of birth on the green card

My mother received her green card with incorrect date of birth. She did not check it when she received it and she has travelled on it. Now it is time for her to go back to USA as her 10 months is due very soon. We now have noticed the mistake.

Will she have any problems entering the US? What should we do? My mother is above 65 and speaks very little english. Please advise. Thank you.

Re: Incorrect date of birth on the green card

It is impossible to say. She may have an understanding officer, maybe not. Hopefully she has (or you have sent) multiple documents reflecting the correct DOB, including her petition for LPR. In the interim, you/she should file for advance parole to alleviate the problem.
