Legal Question in Immigration Law in Texas

Status Change

One of my friend filed asylum after staying about 15 month illegally, after finishing her OPT. she got graduated from US University. Is it possible to go to H1 or F1 from asylum status? Her asylum is not approved yet and still in process . Can any one help her find her options?

Re: Status Change

Your friend can withdraw the asylum application if it's evident that she's eligible for an H-1B or another non-immigrant visa AND the 15 months spent without authorization can be excused.
