Rape

I was raped at gunpoint the guy was convicted can i file a claim against his car and home owners insurance?

Yes you can sue him, but what you get may not be very satisfying. Suing is one thing, but collecting on any judgment is quite another. I doubt his HO insurance will cover an intentional act that causes injury to another. If after going to prison and you finish suing him, he still owns a car then you could assert a lien against it but it's not likely he'll own a car by then. Sorry but this is the reality of your situation. See a lawyer.
