Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

$200 to $400 of property stolen

I am 14 and currently live with my parents. I purchased and built my computer myself. Now, being called a privelage, it is being taken as punishment. It is my personal intellectual property, and I reject that it is at their disposal. I also reject that it can be called a privelage when it is entirely mine and intended for my use only. Every time I try to reason to reclaim my property, I feel as if I am entirely powerless. To add insult to injury, even if this computer was provided to me and therefor a privelage, what I did should not merrit its confiscation

Intellectual property is ideas (patents), reproduceable intellectual works (copyrighted songs, programs, etc.), and trade secrets (how to make Listerine). A computer is called personal property (any physical thing that can be moved around).

Your parents are your natural guardians until you turn 18 years of age, and they have the authority to take your computer away.

Why do you possibly think that your parents can't do this? You are a child, they are your parents. This is a matter to discuss with them, and not one where the law will or should intrude.
