Photoshop, selling, disney images, illegal?

Is it illegal to make birthday invitations using disney images i found on the internet for free and selling them to customers?

Yes, you have to pay license fees to the copyright holder. Failure to do so can have some serious consequences including copyright infringement, and counterfeiting.

Just because you found Disney images on the internet does NOT mean they are "free" for the taking! Just the same as finding a book you find, or buy, does not mean you can copy its content and resell it as something else. U.S. Copyright law protects such things. Hence, you could find yourself in hot water if you do take Disney images from the net and use them for your own purposes. Hope this helps.
