My grandmother is in her last days and is cared for by her son. He is being incarserated soon and wants to leave the house to his children. How do we go about this. A cousin of mine has a letter that he wrote out and had her sign leaving him the house ( she was in and out of the hospital and on medication he is in jail now and stating that the house is his. My grandmother has stated that she wants the house to go the her son. We have the deed , but we are scard that my cousin with this so called letter can take the house. He is on drugs, and in and out of jail.

Your grandmother should have a deed giving the property to her son, or have a will stating that her property is to go to her son. He can prepare a will giving the property to his children. If they are minors, the property would have to go in trust for them. If they are over 18, he could deed the property to them.
