Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

My husband lives in Dallas,Tx. He was working in New Jersey for two week. His compoany give him a extra $2.00 pay and 40 predium for working out of state. Now he is working in Houston and the company said that don't have to pay they a predium for working in the same state. Is that true?

It depends on what company policy says. Get a copy of the policy. In Texas, a right to work state, he can be fired, with or without cause. Sometimes companies adjust rates of pay based upon an index set forth in the policy. Get it and talk to HR. They will explain.
