nonpayment of earned funds

The broker that books trips for our horse hauling business has not paid us for the last trip which came to over $3000.00. What can we do legally to get our money?

Get a lawyer that'll take a small percentage of the amount if you win or go to small claims court and file suit yourself. Before that, send him a certified mail letter demanding what's due.
