Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

salary pay

I am a salary employee with a contract for my pay based on 45 hours a week. I am now told i will be working at least 60 or more, do they have to pay me for the extra hours?

generally YES but you need to discuss with a lawyer..who is employer..it may be they are liable for substantial damages to you and others and they would be liable for substantially more if they fired you or took adverse action for making your claim.
