I have surgery my dr excuse is two weeks but my boss want me to go back to work in one week if I can't go back to work in one week can my boss fire me

employer could fire you unless the company is large enough to be under FMLA ie Family Medical Leave Act of the Federal government....State laws do little to protect workers
