Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

My work schedule is off on Monday and my employer changed my schedule to work on Monday without informing me or asking if I was able to make the change. Once I asked what the change was for and how are they handling situations where employees have plans (school) I was told that it would be an occurrence on my attendance which in my case will get me fired. Can I sue for that?

Texas is an at-will employment state meaning you can be fired without any reason (as long as it is not illegal discrimination.) If you are fired, you may be able to collect unemployment in this situation.
