Landlord died is the lease valid? Our landlord died 4wks after we signed a 2 yr lease we have been paying the owner of the house directly but their are several issues going on with the house and we want to leave . Can we leave the house without breaking the lease?

Yes, technically, you would be breaking the lease; however, it is unlikely that the "new owner" (the lessor's survivors) would sue you.
