Property Manager Integrity
As a property owner, I have been receiving progressively later rent payments the Property Manager has been blaming on the tenant. I have found out that the Property Manager has been collecting the rent on time, then witholding for their own use. Is that legal?

The money belongs to you. More than likely, your agreement is that the property manager can first take his/her portion due, but must immediately forward the remainder to you. I would suggest that you send a strongly worded (certified mail, return receipt) letter stating that such delay is not acceptable. Keep a copy.
