Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Texas

I am buyin a box truck form a company and the owner never gave me a paper. We agreed on an amt of 7500$...$6000 for truck and gave me $1500 for repairs. Anyways she said I only owe her 3000$ on truck after the payment I made to her. Her company is going under and now she is taking advantage of the fact she didnt give me anything on paper she says I owe her $8500. That was not our agreement. I have the check stubs where she too out the truck pmt from my checks. Is there anything I can do about this. I have put in 1500$ in repairs on top of the 1500$ she added to pmts and I have paid 6months of pmts. I need to know what i can do.On top of that she owes me $800 for wking 2 wks and will not pay me.

Sue her, right now, in small claims court. Put all of your facts into the petition. Let the court sort it out.

You may have some problems of proof if there was no written contract.
