forging doctor's note and receipt

i need some help, i used a doctor's letterhead and receipt stating i was in a doctor's office and used it for my employer in order to miss a week of work. my employer found out when they verified with the doctor they found out it was not real and the doctor expressed that he would like to press charges against me. what type of charge or penalty can he file against me? i am in houston, tx. please help.
