Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Texas

I changed my mind about an elective surgery just before it was about to happen. apologized but said I want to leave. Doctor told me I was having anxiety reaction to the antacid they gave me, so he wanted to give me something to stop the anxiety and come back in 10 minutes and if I still didn't want to have the operation, they weren't going to make me do anything I didn't want to do. I woke up in recovery upset they did it without my permission. Family said I was happy about it when he returned and seemed to not have any reservation. I just learned they gave me Versed, a drug that makes you stay awake so you appear to witnesses you aren't drugged, happy without a care in the world, and do what you are directed, and have complete amnesia. I have struggled to remember approving what I knew I wouldn't change my mind about. I am angry because now I have irreversible brain damage and am bed bound, lost everything in my whole life, and almost my life. I want to have my day of justice.

It is unfortunate that you had to go through this. All we can say is, if you have the medical records, we would love to see them.
