Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Texas

I noticed my daughter had somewhat of a lazy eye since she was around 9 months old, it was nothing bad just every so offer one of her eyes would float up for a few seconds and come back down. I took her to a kids eye doctor, who that day scheduled a surgery! after recovery we went back for a follow up visit and the doctor flat out told me he overcorrected the problem, from that first surgery on her eyes are not at all aligned. So he says he needs to perform a second surgery, with that surgery her eyes were way off, I quick going to her doctors visits and got a new doctor. At her first appointment with her new doctor he immediately diagnosed her with browns syndrome and said it was due to the prior surgerys. She can no longer look up with both eyes one goes in when looking up, she is having her 3rd surgery in two days to try and fix both problems. I know she's in pain because she cried and hold her head. Please any advise would be very much appreciated. I've spoken to a lawyer who didn't really want to look at the case unless it could not be fixed at all, yes it was a money thing his office aid told me so.
